New Baseballcardland - State of the Collection
This is the 249th post in the history of Four Baggers. Might as well talk about this pile of crap on my basement shelf... Tending to the out of control mess in the basement room housing my collection, doesn't happen near as much as it needs to. We've lived in this house for almost five years now, and I've never had my stuff anywhere near organized. My office is a still a disaster of unsorted folders, notebooks and boxes of stuff I don't even remember. But that office will be tackled at some other undetermined point in the future. First, I have to make a significant dent in shaping this room up, before moving onto any other project. Between January and April of 2023, my efforts into card sorting, was all of the new acquisitions from between 2020 and 2022. Three years worth of ripped boxes and packs. Some of the hits, rookies and stars were already removed when I opened them. But there we're plenty of surprises popping out of those previously opened packs. Totally ...
