Abandoned Baseball Cards - Pal's Sports Cards - Andover, MN
My LCS closed for good on November 12, 2023. This was the first of two major November 2023 tragedies to pop up out of nowhere. 8 days after Pal's Sports Cards closed their store, my closest friend of the last 30 years killed himself, on his 48th birfday. I had to put this planned story on hold, while I wrote about that unfortunate event. I really didn't like this November... November 19, 2023 A week after Pal's Sports Cards closed, I went back for another round of pictures and saw one of the walls of the now empty baseball card shop, was already being removed. A new tenant is getting ready to move into the entire south side of the strip mall. The dumpster on the right side of this photo is being filled with construction debris, as work on the new World Taekwondo Academy, had began a few weeks before Pal's closed.
